This short from "Everyday" has a lot of Nintendo and PS2 bashing. Like at the beginning, there are a pair of twins yelling at each other and bashing Link and Sora. You know, these aren't my opinions of the characters at all. I love both guys, they are awesome. The twins opinions are rather mean sometimes but just let it go by like it didn't happen or think they're just idiots for bashing two really famous companies' characters and games. These opinions are here just to make the story funny. Don't think that these are my opinions just because I wrote this short story. Now... With all that random talking from Curori, we'll go on to the story...



    “DARN YOU, NAGI!!! I TOLD YOU SORA IS A WAY HOTTER MAIN CHARACTER THAN LINK!!!” Kimi Inazami screamed at her twin brother all of a sudden in the middle of break. She leapt out of the second desk closest to the door, which was her own seat.

    “WELL, DARN YOU, KIMI!! I THINK THAT LINK IS THE HOTTEST HERO I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!” Nagi Inazami, Kimi’s twin brother screamed back at her. He quickly jumped out of his own seat, which was the second desk in the second row closest to the door. “And I still say he’s hot even if I’m male.” Nagi added haughtily. Kimi bared her teeth at Nagi, while he stuck out his tongue.

    “Don’t you get it!? Link’s just an elf!! No special things! Just an elf!!”

    “No he’s not!! Link is the chosen hero of time and wind and twilight!!! He’s not just an elf!! He’s Hyrulean!!!”

    The two twins slammed their fists on Roan’s desk, which was right behind Nagi’s, making him jump two feet out of his chair. Roan’s eyes opened wide as he realized that the twins were above him, yelling at each other.

    The Izanami twins were one of the opposite twins that people see in comics. They’re favorites were so opposite, people believed they were born from a comical world.

    Kimi, the older twin, was born on December 31st at 11:59 PM. She was the more serious and quiet one, or should we say, the more mature one. Her brother, Nagi, was born on January 1st at 12:01 AM. He was the happier, childish one. They were exactly opposite. When Kimi would say ‘stop’, Nagi would say ‘go’. When Nagi said ‘hi’, Kimi was saying ‘bye’.

    The only thing that would make them lose their cool was when they began their heated talk of video games.

    And this was on of those times.

    “ROAN!!” They cried out in unison, each grabbing one of Roan’s shoulders. Roan felt the blood recede from his face. He knew he was dead if he said the wrong thing. “Do you say—“ They began in unison, and Roan shut his eyes in fear.

    “That Koji Kondo is God of Music?” Nagi asked with bright eyes.

    “That Nobuo Uematsu is the God of music?” Kimi asked at the same time.

    “I personally like Danny Elfman…” Roan said weakly and the twins looked at him, and then back at each other.

    “Danny Elfman’s song did make it into Kingdom Hearts.”

    “But they have his songs in the Gameboy advance version of “The Nightmare Before Christmas”.” Nagi answered and the twins glared at each other again. Roan continued to plea in his mind that somebody would get him out of this predicament, and if they did, he would listen to the person for a week.

    “Really, Roan!? You’ll listen to me for a week!?” Hiroshi cried out in excitement and appeared right in front of his face. Roan now wished in his mind that Hiroshi couldn’t read minds. “I can read minds, Roan! I’m psychic! Remember?” Hiroshi laughed as he patted Roan on the head.

    “I’m surrounded by idiots…” Roan sighed under his breath.

    “Wanna go angst? I’m here to help, Roan.” Akira appeared next to him and Roan sighed. Akira was pretty angst-y when he was in middle school… Roan never knew the reason though. Maybe the people were just plain weird? But Akira was weird himself.

    “Hey! You don’t call my friend weird!” Hiroshi cried out angrily as he grabbed Roan’s collar and pulled him up from his chair.

    “W-Whoa! Dude, Hiroshi, I didn’t mean to—“ Roan started and a hand grabbed Hiroshi by the shoulder. Kimi, Nagi, Akira, Hiroshi and Roan turned to the owner of the hand.

    “Fighting isn’t acceptable in this classroom. If you’re going to fight, Hiroshi, I want you to get out of the class. Now.” The school council president, Aya Ito, said; her tone was demanding.

    “Dude, Hiroshi—I’m sorry.” Roan said and Hiroshi glared at Roan once more. Roan noticed he air bending around his brown-haired friend and some of the desk were shaking slightly. Hiroshi turned toward Akira, and Akira nodded once. Hiroshi let go of Roan’s collar and looked to the floor. The air stopped bending and the desks stopped shaking.

    “Sorry.” Hiroshi muttered and Roan smiled.

    “Dude, it’s okay.” Roan answered. “And sorry for thinking your friend was an idiot. I didn’t mean to.” Roan added apologetically.

    “It’s all right. I should’ve remembered that we all can’t control our thoughts.” Hiroshi said sheepishly as he began to smile in his usual way. Aya, sensing the argument was over, walked off. Hiroshi stared at her with surprised eyes for a moment, and laughed slightly under his breath.

    “Something interesting in her mind?” Akira asked, and Hiroshi grinned.

    “I knew it. She does hate me. She hates me for living alone.” Hiroshi whispered and Kimi and Nagi’s eyes opened wide.

    “You live alone!? Dude, awesome!” Nagi cried out excitedly and Hiroshi nodded.

    “How dangerous!” Kimi continued after him.

    “Well, I live with Akira, but we have no parents or siblings.” Hiroshi answered and Kimi and Nagi wrapped their arms around his shoulders.

    “Which means you play video games… Right?” They asked slowly.

    “Sure. I’m playing Fire Emblem for the Wii and Katamari Damacy on the Playstation 2.” Hiroshi answered brightly, and he tried to leave the twins. But realized he couldn’t. Their grip was stronger than expected. “………… Um… What is this?”

    “Did you like Fire Emblem more!? I bet you did! I mean, it’s for the Wii!!” Nagi started blabbering about Nintendo and the Wii.

    “No, Hiroshi’s a happy guy! I bet he loved Katamari Damacy more than that RPG stuff. Right?” Kimi smiled, her eyes cold as ice.

    “…… Um…” Hiroshi looked away from both of their eyes and down at the floor.

    “Hiroshi?” The twins asked in unison.

    “Akira—“ Hiroshi started, but his best friend was out of the room and running down the hallway with Roan. “YOU TRAITORS!!!” Hiroshi hollered after them as he fell into the long speech about the Wii and the Playstation 2.
